2. Chicago Bears still need edge rusher help
The Chicago Bears should keep swinging in the trenches throughout the day. If a three-technique is there that is great, but they will still need an edge rusher if not. The team did get some help for the edges when they signed Rasheem Green and DeMarcus Walker. Still, they signed Walker because he can rush inside and outside, and he is best in a rotation.
Then, there is Green who did not even sign until a few weeks before the NFL draft. He is a solid contributor, but they need legitimate starters, not solid contributors and rotational rushers. That means the team needs to hit the edge rusher.
We highlighted some of the best options, but even guys like Will McDonald and Felix Anudike-Uzomah jumped into round one, making it tougher for a top guy to fall to the Chicago Bears. Still, Keion White, Derick Hall, Isaiah Foskey, BJ Ojulari, Zach Harrison, Isaiah McGuire, Tuli Tuipulotu, and YaYa Diaby are all going to be options. Do we think all of those guys can go in the next 20 to 30 picks?
The odds are that one of these names will be there when the Chicago Bears pick with their three selections. The question may be more about when the team goes edge, and not if they go with an edge rusher.
