When the Chicago Bears take on the Carolina Panthers, there will be plenty of storylines and things that we need to see from the team. While we hope that the team can shake up the center position and we need to see Montez Sweat be able to move DeMarcus Walker inside, there are some changes that we will definitely see due to health reasons.

4. Will we see the Chicago Bears preseason secondary start and finish a game together in week 10?

The Chicago Bears' secondary was supposed to be their greatest strength. However, that has not been the case, as the unit has had a multitude of injuries. Kyler Gordon broke his hand in week one, and Eddie Jackson left early in week two with his foot injury. Jaquan Brisker, Jaylon Johnson, and Tyrique Stevenson missed time in between, but they were supposed to be fully healthy in week six. Of course, just 16 snaps into the game, Jackson was back out with his foot.

Jaquan Brisker missed weeks eight and nine, so while Jackson returned in week nine, the secondary was still not together. Even in week nine, the Bears lost Tyrique Stevenson.

Thursday will be the healthiest this group has been since week one or week six, with both games ending with injured secondary members. Week one was the first we saw of Stevenson, and week six was the return of both Jackson and Johnson. In week 10, they will have had their cornerbacks together for five straight weeks. Jackson will be healthy for two straight games, Brisker appears to be fully healthy, and week seven was his best game.

We may finally get to see this secondary back to full health, and it comes at the perfect time because Bryce Young and the Panthers' passing game is pretty weak. They also may be without D.J. Chark. Look for the Bears' defense to play their best game, and look for this week to potentially spark the secondary to play much better in the second half of the season.
