1. Joe Tippmann would be a dream scenario for the Chicago Bears

We highlighted that a dream sceanrio for the Chicago Bears could be trading down just a spot or two, taking a tackle, then adding Joe Tippman in the second round. Needless to say they nailed the first portion of the dram weekend. Now, can they finish this off with Tippman.

We noted two other options at center. One was Cody Mauch, who is moving from tackle to center. The other is John Michael-Schmitz who appears to be less likely to fall to the Chicago Bears pick. Tippman may be the happy medium of a player who is plenty experienced but also may be there.

Tippman is almost an oversized center. He can lose with leverage at times and can end up playing too high. That can be an issue and can be what causes him to fall. However, he is a great fit for the Chicago Bears due to the zone scheme.

Next. 3 stats fans must know about Darnell Wright. dark

He could come in right away, or at least push Cody Whitehair right away. It will be interesting to see if he falls, which is something we have calling for for a while now. The start of the draft went as expected position-wise, now do they take a center like we expected on day two?
