Watch Cubs fans celebrate Caleb Williams' first TD during rain delay at Wrigley Field

It's a bleak time to be a Chicago sports fan. After a promising Week 1 win, the Bears have now dropped two in a row and have looked terrible doing it. The offensive line may be the worst in football, Caleb Williams' performance has been a mixed bag, and the game plans being put together by Matt Eberflus and Shane Waldron look, politely put, terrible.

There were some nice moments in Sunday's loss to the Colts though. And by some, I mean one: Caleb Williams' first touchdown pass as a pro, which was also Rome Odunze's first touchdown catch as a pro. (Adorable!) In typical Chicago fan fashion, it was a moment that got celebrated all over the city – quite literally. As it turns out, the Cubs' season is still happening? And people are still going to games? PbP guy Zach Zaidman captured video of the 10 fans at Wrigley Field celebrating Williams' first touchdown, and the footage is equal parts funny and depressing.

Cubs fans were paying closer attention to the Bears game

I mean, when you're going to a cold, rainy Cubs game after they were eliminated from playoff contention, you need all the good news you can get. Playing Bears theme music while putting the game on the outfield screens is almost too Chicago for anyone's own good. Imagine how many people were crushing a hotdog with an Old Style while this was happening. If that's not peak Chicago, I simply cannot think of what is.

This is also a great would-you-rather. I honestly don't know what's better: watching the Bears lose the ugliest game of the season at home, or watching their few highlights from a cold, rainy exhibition game at Wrigley Field. Also, someone somewhere is extremely mad on the web about this being framed as Caleb Williams' first touchdown pass and not Rome Odunze's first touchdown catch, I'm so sure of it.

Do you think after this, Wrigley Field showed all of Justin Fields' highlights from today? [ducks]
