What channel is the Bears-Chiefs game on today? Start time, announcers, and more
The end of the 2024 NFL Preseason is here as the Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chief kick off the third and final week of the preseason with a game on Thursday night.
Matt Eberflus revealed earlier this week that a majority of the team's starters, including rookie quarterback Caleb Williams, will not be playing. With the Kansas City Chiefs also sitting their starters, the anticipated matchup between Williams and Patrick Mahomes will need to wait until the next time the two teams play in the regular season.
Still, given the implications at the bottom of the 53-man roster for the Bears, fans will be tuned into the team's final exhibition game of the year.
Of course, you cannot watch the game without knowing how to watch the game.
Bears-Chiefs TV channel:
Locally, Bears fans can watch the game on Fox Chicago. Fox Chicago serves as the preseason home of the Bears. Closer to the Chicagoland area, fans will be able to catch the game on channel 32 while outside of the city, the game will be on channel 12.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:20 pm CST. Pre-game coverage for the game can be seen 30 minutes prior to the start on Fox Chicago.
In-market fans can also watch the game on the Bears' official website. This option is only available during the preseason.
Bears-Chiefs announcers:
Adam Amin will be the play-by-play announcer for the game on Thursday night with former Bears quarterback Jim Miller serving as the analyst. Lou Canellis of Fox Chicago will be the sideline reporter for the game.
Bears and Chiefs recent outcomes:
The Bears made easy work of the Cincinnati Bengals last Saturday, cruising to a 27-3 win. After struggling to open the game, Caleb Williams put on a show with a pair of magical plays to end the first half.
The Chiefs, meanwhile, lost 24-23 to the Detroit Lions in a game that featured another incredible throw by Mahomes.
If the Bears win on Thursday, not only would the team have gone undefeated this preseason but they will have won against some of the top-tier teams in the AFC.
