After swinging twice on interior defensive linemen in the 2023 NFL draft, the thought is that the Chicago Bears will be relatively quiet on this front entering the NFL Combine. However, they are expected to lose Justin Jones, and while Gervon Dexter has made strides, Zacch Pickens has not. It may have the Bears interested in the lineman options in the 2024 draft.

Dexter could not see the field more due to run defense issues, so if the Bears are not confident in the progression of Pickens, they may look for that type of player. Who are some names the Chicago Bears should be watching at the NFL Combine?

The Bears are unlikely to draft anyone in the top ten, so with their next pick being at 75, there are a few obvious names to cross off. Still, if they did want to make a pick around there, names such as Mekhi Wingo and Jordan Jefferson from LSU, Leonard Taylor from Miami, and Tyler Davis from Clemson all stand out as potential nose tackle options. Will these players work out, and do they have interviews with the Chicago Bears?

If the Bears are still looking to find the three-technique that Matt Eberflus covets, they may lean more to Michael Hall from Ohio State or Ruke Orhorhoro, who both bring more penetrating juice.

Still, the team is most likely to address this on day three. That is where names such as Fabien Lovett from Florida State or Justin Rogers from Auburn will be looking to get selected. Their athletic testing may get them on the radar or take them off of teams' boards. All of them have plenty to gain in the next week; which defensive line prospects do you have your eyes glued to?
