The Chicago Bears began Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft by selecting Missouri wideout Luther Burden III before making moves, trading down with the Buffalo Bills to acquire even more capital.
When they finally reached their next pick at no. 56 overall, Green Bay was in for quite the show as WWE superstar Seth Rollins waltzed out onto the stage to announce Chicago's pick.
Before we get too deep into the shenanigans, the Bears wound up selecting Boston College offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo to officially put Braxton Jones on notice.
But, that's not the story taking center stage, here. The story is just how far Rollins went to try and get a rise out of Packer fans.
Seth Rollins caused a ruckus in Green Bay and loved every minute of it
"Green Bay, Wisconsin! Is that all you got? Come on, you can be louder than that!" he started out shouting. "I know ya'll mad because championship gold looks good on the blue and orange."
Rollins was wearing a custom-made Bears-themed championship belt. Yes, there is a bit of irony there with Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers, etc. but we'll leave that alone.
Aside from the fact that the Bears haven't won a Super Bowl in 40 years (come on, let's just be honest here), Rollins was entertaining nonetheless. But, he didn't stop there. He doubled-down on his hatred for the city of Green Bay and went on to poke a bit more:
"I love Lambeau Field because the king of the north, the best quarterback in the NFC North, Caleb Williams, is undefeated at Lambeau Field!"
To be fair, Rollins isn't wrong. Caleb Williams is 1-0 at Lambeau Field. He is simply stating facts with this point, thankfully.
"Let's burn it down and Bear Down, Chicago!" he finished.
It was an entirely-too-dramatic attempt at trolling a bitter rival. But, Rollins has the type of personality where he loves getting a rise out of people. So, this is right on par for him.
And once again, if you're judging strictly from an entertainment perspective, that was hilariously awesome. Even if it was logically off-base, it was still plenty entertaining.
