Chicago Bears fans are having fun again, folks. We aren't sure if it's going to last, but let's enjoy this victory over the Dallas Cowboys while we can.
Speaking of fans, one Cowboys fan who isn't having fun at the moment, was especially hilarious to watch react via social media. Cowboys fanatic Skip Bayless took to his account and posted a lengthy video expressing his displeasure with the team, and within that 19-minute rant, he had some specific words to say about former Bears coach Matt Eberflus who now heads the Cowboys defense.
"I understand why Matt Eberflus was fired by the Bears last year, obviously, as the head coach. I think it's time to fire him now in Dallas, or at least demote him. I see nothing," Bayless said.
Fire Eberflus? After just three games? Now, Skip is typically good for his fair share of overreactions. But, in this case, his emotional response might not be that far off.
It didn't take long for Cowboys fans to understand what Bears fans learned about Matt Eberflus
Skip isn't wrong. He might be captain of the hyperbole ship, itself, but this is actually a pretty fair take. Eberflus was extremely ineffective as the Bears' head coach and it showed in more ways than one.
We can look even further than what we see on the field. Take Eberflus' personality and lack of any motivating factor into consideration. Bears fans went wild seeing the comparison between Eberflus and Johnson in the locker room after a win, as put together in a video.
It didn't take long for Bears fans to figure out Eberflus doesn't have anything inspiring or motivating about him, and that shows up on the field. The Cowboys defense looked lost at times, but one thing remained very familiar to Chicagoans.
Eberflus' defense plays soft against the pass. There's rarely anything there which imposes a threat on opposing wide receivers. He made it so, so easy on Caleb Williams and his receivers in the passing game on Sunday.
This is only a small part of what Bayless ranted about, but all in all, Eberflus just isn't cutting it in the NFL anymore. We know it. Cowboys fans know it. Skip knows it. Everyone knows it.

It is going to be a long season in Dallas, with or without Micah Parsons. Eberflus is there, and that's enough to warrant significant worry.
