One game. That's all almost half the Chicago Bears players have to prove themselves or they could be out of jobs.
It's a grim way to look at it as the hopeful side is that they have one game to show how much they have improved from the first day of training camp until now. They will at least have a chance to do it against the Kansas City Chiefs, which gives them a good challenge to face.
There are four players in particular that need to have stellar performances to prove themselves or even just to stay on the roster. It won't be easy for these guys, but one game can make all the difference.
Kiran Amegadjie, OL
At the beginning of training camp, Amegadjie was in the mix, taking first-team reps with the Bears at left tackle. That has turned into him not even being in the conversation anymore and working out with the second and third teams on the opposite side. It feels as though his time in Chicago is on life support, and he needs to demonstrate his versatility on the line and ability to play multiple positions to stay on the team.
Samori Toure, WR
It hasn't been a bad preseason for Toure as he is second on the team in receiving yards in two games with 74. His lack of effort to make a play to avoid a Tyson Bagent interception in the Dolphins game might have put him on the hot seat. Making the 53-man roster already seems like a stretch for Toure, but any bad plays against the Chiefs would certainly seal his fate.
Tre Flowers, CB
Even with a banged-up secondary, Flowers has performed well on the field in two preseason games. He's got five tackles and three pass deflections in those contests. With Terell Smith out for the season, an extra spot has opened on the roster at cornerback, and Flowers could sneak his way onto the roster, but he can't avoid any negative plays. More pass deflections and a pick would help his chances.

Jeremiah Walker, CB
Walker has an opportunity to try to steal a roster spot with Smith's injury. After putting up no stats against the Dolphins, Walker did make three tackles against the Bills. It's put up or shut up time for Walker, as he needs to make some big plays in the Chiefs game to get himself noticed.
