It's been a strength of his during his entire career in the NFL thus far, and since it's something he's excelling with now, there is no reason to believe that this will not continue. The Chicago Bears are 8-3 on the season and are winning one-score games left and right.
Chicago is still in first in the NFC North and is an entire game ahead of the Detroit Lions, who are 7-4 after an overtime win. The Bears do control their own destiny in the division this year, and, if nothing else, should at least make the playoffs.
It's been a great first year for Ben Johnson, and second-year QB Caleb Williams has definitely played some sharp football this year. If he can get his completion percentage closer to 62% or 63% by season's end, things will really begin to come together, but this key stat might be enough for the Bears to make a deep playoff run.
Caleb William's ability to not throw interceptions is legitimate, and something special
Caleb Williams has played 28 games in the NFL, and he's thrown just 10 interceptions in those games. He is, simply, already elite at not putting the ball in harm's way, and interceptions are one of the biggest killers for any offensive drive.
His interception rate of 1.1% is sensational, and he only averages six interceptions over a 17-game season. Right now, his TD:INT ratio is nearly 4:1, as he's thrown 36 touchdowns against just 10 picks. He's thrown interceptions in just eight of his 28 NFL games, and in the 20 games that he has not put the ball in harm's way, the Bears are 10-10 in those games. They are 3-5 in games where Williams does throw a pick, so they do win more.
But, it's still early on in his career, so the record doesn't really tell the full story, but his ability to avoid putting the ball in harm's way can come in handy big-time when the Bears get to the postseason. There will come a time in any postseason game where Chicago will be in a 'gotta have it' situation on offense.

The quarterback will have to lead this team in a tight game - that's just the nature of the NFL, and every football fan would understand how back-breaking a late-game interception could be. Caleb Williams had a better rookie season than people give him credit for, and his overall ability to not throw interceptions is going to come in clutch for the Bears at some point this year, or in the near future.
