There hasn't been a player on the Chicago Bears who has had as much success since the bye week as running back D'Andre Swift.
Over the last two games, Swift has had over 100 rushing yards and scored one touchdown in each of the last two matchups for the Bears. After starting the year averaging about 3.4 yards per carry in the first four games, he has averaged 7.1 yards per carry in the last two games.
There's been some concern this week with Swift, though, as he's been dealing with a groin injury that has kept him in and out of practice. The Bears' final Week 8 injury report listed Swift as questionable for the matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
This has created some uncertainty about whether Swift would play against the Ravens or be out for the contest.
Swift's status is revealed for the Bears-Ravens game
NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that Swift is expected to play in the game against the Ravens. This is in line with what happened with Swift in last week's 26-14 win over the New Orleans Saints, when he was also banged up going into that game.

This is good news for a Bears team that is already out five players in the game, including tight end Cole Kmet, running back Roschon Johnson, and left tackle Braxton Jones for the game. Swift has been a key piece to the offense and has helped them rush for 232 yards in the last two games combined.
Expect Swift and rookie seventh-round pick Kyle Monangai to get most of the carries. The two combined for 205 yards and two touchdowns against the Saints.

Chicago might have injury concerns that are more pressing for the defense, but with Swift staying in the lineup, the Bears have a chance to keep the momentum going in the running game against a 1-5 Ravens team.
