Rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater did his best to keep the Vikings in the game on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough. Minnesota fell to the Bears on the road 21-13 with Bridgewater tossing for just 158 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The Vikings appeared to have a grasp early on in the game, taking a 10-0 lead heading into the second quarter. But they would fail to score a single point during the next two quarters of play, and lost the time of possession battle to the Bears by a whopping 17 minutes total. Minnesota has remained a pleasant surprise, playing without star running back Adrian Peterson, who has now been ruled out for the season. They will need to utilize the remainder of the year to find some more pieces for the future within their roster.
