The departure of Adrian Amos left a hole in the Bears’ secondary. General manager Ryan Pace felt that the signing of Ha Ha Clinton-Dix was good enough to fill that void. In his five years in the NFL, Clinton-Dix has 17-career interceptions (including the playoffs). Being paired up with All-Pro safety Eddie Jackson will potentially give Chicago one of the best safety duos against the passing game, and should help improve a pass defense that was ranked seventh in the league in 2018.
