Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears

The Minnesota Vikings are the one team in the NFC North that I always kind of liked. Granted, I went to Michigan State and Kirk Cousins is their quarterback, but even without that, I could never find it in me to hate them. They didn’t have Aaron Rodgers and they definitely never had Ndamukong Suh, so what’s there to hate?

That being said the Bears have won four consecutive games against Minnesota, despite the Vikings seemingly having a better team last year. They finished 10-6 and would make it to the Wild Card round, where they beat the New Orleans Saints. That’s as far as they’d reach though, as they’d get dropped by the Super Bowl-bound San Francisco 49ers.

The Vikings lose some key pieces in Stefon Diggs, Xavier Rhodes, Trae Waynes, and Everson Griffen among others. The pickups for this team just don’t seem to match the losses, so I don’t see the Vikings beating Chicago. The Bears won both matchups last year and unless anything drastic happens, I don’t know what stops them from repeating.

Gun to my head, I’d say Chicago wins both, but the streak of six wins in a row against Minnesota scares me. Splitting these games is probably the most agreeable total, but my gut tells me they’ll steal them both.
