Chicago Bears lose a majority of games; get top-12 pick

The second scenario that is just as possible for the Bears is that they lose the majority of their games. From bad coaching and preparation to subpar talent on the offense, this isn’t outside of the realm of possibility. It doesn’t help either that the defense quite obviously quit on Sunday against the Packers.

This is much more likely than the Bears making the playoffs. The Bears’ offense struggles against virtually every defense and their defense has been getting exposed due to passive coaching and injuries. Until the Bears improve in some of these ways — which they likely won’t — they are looking to head this way.

This would likely lose both Pace and Nagy’s jobs. The most likely thing is Pace would lose his job and the Bears would let their replacement general manager do what he wants with Nagy. The general manager then would also decide what to do with Trubisky and the rest of the players on the team like Allen Robinson.

On the bright side, this would give the Bears a shot at star quarterbacks Zach Wilson and Trey Lance early in the 2021 NFL Draft. If the Bears lose out, they are projected to pick 10th overall in this draft. This could be the best scenario for the future.
