3. Kendall Lamm could be Chicago Bears swing tackle

Kendall Lamm has been in the NFL since 2015. While he has only been a true starter In 2018, he has found his way onto the field in every season for at least a couple of starts. The best part of Lamm is his swing ability.

Lamm can play both tackles spots, but also can switch inside to guard if needed. Considering Chicago is just trying to get some bodies into their offensive line room and then figure it out from there, Lamm would fit pretty well into that mold, and could be a strong depth signing.

Lamm has NFL experience, but while most of the remaining free agents are over the age of 30, Lamm is still just 29 years old. It is just a few months, but the youth could go a long way, especially if the team is hoping that he could be a swing tackle of the future.

The Bears need depth on the offensive line, and while they should be drafting guys with starter upside, it could leave them to make a decision to sign the depth as cheap as possible. That is where Kendall Lamm comes into play.
