2. Ereck Flowers could fit Chicago Bears

Most people see the name Ereck Flowers and recall him as the player who was a bust for the New York Giants. While it is true that Flowers did not earn his number 10 overall pick status, his career has been long and fortuitous.

The issue with Flowers is that he is much better at guard than tackle. At tackle, his footwork was a mess, but inside at guard where that is not nearly as much of an issue, all of the physical tools that got him drafted so high are what stands out.

Flowers was released by Washington, but that is because his salary was going to be $10M. That is a big deal for a guard such as Flowers. So, the Chicago Bears should have interest, and also should know what type of price they can get him at.

Flowers is the type of player you want to bet on now. He is 27 years old, a former first-round pick, and has a defined position that he could start at for the Chicago Bears. There is still a chance that the Bears get more out of him than some of the other teams and that intrigue makes him worth it.
