4. Roquan Smith, 8th overall

Considering Roquan Smith was a top ten pick, he had high expectations to meet. Still, when you look at pick nine being Mike McGlinchey and pick ten being Josh Rosen, it certainly could have been worse.

Roquan Smith has all but lived up to his expectations, and now he is expected to get a contract extension offer at some point this offseason. Locking him for an eight or nine-year career would make it an easy top selection, regardless of whether he was the no-brainer selection or a tough choice for Ryan Pace.

Smith being a top-ten pick may have hurt him in the overall ranking, considering it is a bit more impressive to hit on fourth and fifth-round picks. Still, Smith has lived up to expectations and is going to be a long-standing franchise leader for years to come.
