11. Chase Allen

Chase Allen is probably the closest player on this list to making the 53-man roster. Still, he is a rookie UDFA at tight end, and would only be the fourth tight end if he made the roster.

At that point, he is competing with other positions for special teams snaps, and that is what may have Allen on the outside. It is better for him to develop as a tight end on the practice squad, than to spend most of his time as a special teams asset, anyways.

Look for Chase Allen to be on the practice squad, with the small chance that he still gets on the roster.
