It's hard for Chicago Bears fans not to be following along with the Minnesota Vikings, and the absolute mess that is their wide receiver room is right now. Not only will the Vikings be without Jordan Addison for the first three games of the year due to a suspension, but Jalen Nailor injured his hand, leaving the Vikings thin at one of the most critical positions.
While the Bears could be willing to make Olamide Zaccheaus a trade candidate due to the electricity from Luther Burden III this summer, they should not, under any circumstances, trade Zaccheaus to their division rival. Zaccheaus was brought in this offseason as a solid veteran option to help fill out the Bears' wide receiver room, and that's exactly what he's going to do if the team keeps him.
Plus, if the Bears were to trade him to Minnesota and he then went on to ball out there, how dumb would the Bears look? They'd have traded a great possible weapon for Caleb Williams to a division rival and then would be tasked with facing him twice a year. No thank you.
Bears have no business rescuing Vikings from painful WR mess
While trades within the division do happen from time-to-time (T.J. Hockenson going from Detroit to Minnesota is a recent example of one), the Bears don't need to be a part of this. The Vikings are now in a bind where they'll have to consider trading for a veteran wide receiver or risk not having enough weapons for their first-year (not technically, but he hasn't seen any NFL action yet) quarterback.
Yes, J.J. McCarthy will have Justin Jefferson at his disposal, but it's slim pickings behind him on the depth chart. The other names on the depth chart, with Addison and Nailor unavailable, consist of Lucky Jackson, Tai Felton, and Silas Bolden. You'd have to be pretty big football fans to know of any of those names.

Let the Vikings suffer in their own wide receiver mess and keep Zaccheaus in Chicago where he belongs. The Bears are swimming in wide receiver depth and that makes this whole thing even funnier.
