The Chicago Bears fan base has been needing some good news after everything training camp has taken away from them in terms of injuries.
There seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel on that front. While Coby Bryant is still going to be gone for four to six months, the Bears' offense got some key pieces back. ESPN Bears reporter Courtney Cronin shared the latest injury update from training camp.
"Two positive updates on the injury front: Darnell Wright was back at practice Wednesday after leaving early yesterday with an elbow concern.
Luther Burden III was back on the field for the first time since injuring his groin on Aug. 8. Burden went through individual drills and went inside when 7 on 7 started."
Bears got Luther Burden III and Darnell Wright back at trianing camp
It's a major relief to see Wright back at practice after leaving early on Tuesday. The Bears' training staff checked his right arm, but it doesn't appear to be a major issue anymore.
Burden's return is the best news heard in quite some time. He missed most of training camp with a groin injury, and seeing him running routes in individual drills was great as a Bears fan.
Cronin also added that Austin Booker and Gervon Dexter Sr. were not seen at practice. Booker has been missing for the last two days, and Dexter left practice early on Tuesday with an undisclosed injury.
More news on the injury front is that Elijah Hicks and Keyshaun Elliott practiced for the first time since being taken off the PUP list on Tuesday. Both have missed significant time in training camp, but are back at work.
The Bears seem to finally be getting healthy at the right time and getting a lot of their key players back. Booker and Dexter will have a lot of people's attention, as the defensive line cannot afford to take any hits. Dexter will have eyes on him since the report came out that he was being shopped for a trade.

Still, Burden and Wright being back is huge for the offense and key to making sure it moves in the right direction. Now the hope is that everyone who's returning will be ready to rock and roll for Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers.
