Chicago Bears fans should brace themselves as Thursday's injury report looks pretty bad.

In total, six players did not practice, including three of them being starters on the team. Two others were listed as limited in practice.

Breaking down the worst of the Bears' injuries on the list

Bears fans already know about Jaylon Johnson, as he will be gone indefinitely and could even be out for the season with his groin injury. The only hope is that he will be back by the end of the season, but that seems like a stretch at this point.

The biggest concerns are coming from Edwards and Gordon, who have yet to practice this week. Gordon hasn't played any of the regular season games, and Edwards only played last week in the Bears' 52-21 blowout loss to the Detroit Lions.

For depth purposes, Jackson and Jones are brutal to see on the injury report as they both are in key positions that simply cannot afford to take any more hits. Jackson at least has practiced this week, but Jones hasn't been on the field this week.

Jarrett and Swift find themselves on the injury list this week, as Jarrett has been a member of the list dating back to last week. Swift's quad injury shouldn't keep him out, but it still isn't great that the running back position has yet another injury after just getting back Roschon Johnson and Kyle Monangai back the last two weeks.

One positive is seeing Walker as a full participant in practice after only playing 11 snaps in the Bears' Week 1 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He was out of last week's game with an ankle injury.

Friday is the major injury report everyone will be looking for to see who has a chance to play. The trend right now does not look great for the Bears.
