It was bad enough for the Chicago Bears fans to look back at the Week 8 injury report against the Baltimore Ravens, but the inactive list will be another brutal reminder that the Bears' depth going into the game isn't great.
There are six names that are on the inactive list, including three of those players that were included on the injury report for Week 8.
- Case Keenum, Third QB
- Tyrique Stevenson, CB
- Cole Kmet, TE
- Roschon Johnson, RB
- Ruben Hyppolite II, LB
- Chris Williams, DL
Bears dealing with some issues at key positions
The biggest problem child is at cornerback, where none of the Bears' starting cornerbacks will play. Stevenson and Gordon are both out, with Gordon being added to the IR. Jaylon Johnson has been out since he left the Detroit Lions game in Week 2.
Kmet will miss the first game of his NFL career, dating back to his 2020 draft. Colston Loveland will be taking over as the main starter with the hopes that he will be able to live up to his first-round status.
Johnson being out with his own injury will limit an already banged-up backfield. Swift was questionable going into the game, but will play. Rookie seventh-round pick Kyle Monangai had already been the primary backup on the Bears, but could see a more elevated role in the offense.
Jonathan Ford was elevated onto the 53-man roster for the game, as he looks to be the replacement for Williams. Grady Jarrett is back for the first time since playing in the Dallas Cowboys game back in Week 3.

The Bears are looking rough on the roster going into the game, but they still have a shot at winning their fifth straight game.
