Browns somehow screw the Bears (twice) out of perfect draft targets

The Chicago Bears' running back situation could be worse but admittedly, it could be better too. That's why it's been incredibly frustrating to see the Bears miss out on two potential home-run hitters at the position, both to the Cleveland Browns.

First, the Browns snagged Quinshon Judkins in the second round, three picks before the Bears were on the clock (where they eventually selected Luther Burden). The second time came in the fourth round when the Browns took Dylan Sampson six picks before the Bears were on the clock. That pick turned into Ruben Hyppolite II, a linebacker out of Maryland.

Again, the Bears' running back situation isn't necessarily dire but fans would love an upgrade. D'Andre Swift is a talented running back, there's no doubt about that but he's definitely a running back that has to have blocking or he isn't as dominant.

Roschon Johnson might have had six touchdowns last year but only rushed for 150 yards. So yes, there is definitely room for an upgrade here and to see the Bears miss out on two potential options to the same team (no less) is frustrating.

Browns keep stealing Bears' options at RB

Bears fans likely won't be worried considering that Ben Johnson is now the head coach and he's going to bring a high-powered offense with him. That being said, to see the Bears continuing to not only pass on running backs but get talented ones snatched away from them is definitely frustrating.

The good news is that there are still three more rounds of the draft and that means there's still time for Chicago add some help to their rushing attack. Let's hope the Bears do just that with one of their Day 3 picks to give Caleb Williams and the offense more help.

If the goal is to win by a lot, adding help to the run game can help the Bears do just that.
