The roster for the 2025 Chicago Bears is pretty much complete with 15 players being added to the practice squad.

Each NFL team can have up to 16 players with up to six being veterans and the rest complied of first and second year players. The Bears will be looking to add one more to the list in the next day or so as this list can change on a dime.

Who did Bears general manager Ryan Poles add to his practice squad roster?

WR Maurice Alexander

The former USFL star has been working closely with Bears head coach Ben Johnson, dating back to their Detroit Lions days. Alexander was one of the leading receivers on the Bears as he caught nine passes for 71 yards and a touchdown in the preseason.

WR Miles Boykin

Boykin had a quieter preseason than Alexander did, but was still able to make an impact on the team during training camp. He had just two receptions for 19 yards.

RB Brittain Brown

Brown was one of the most impressive players in training camp, as he came in to help address the depth concerns at running back, with injuries piling up. He was tied for the team lead in rushing yards in the preseason with 100 yards and one touchdown. Brown was practicing with D'Andre Swift a couple of days ago before getting cut.

TE Stephen Carlson

Carlson had a memorable 36-yard completion in the preseason, but that was it for him. He finished with two receptions for 40 yards.

DL Xavier Carlton

Carlton did a nice job with stopping the run, but didn't have quite the impact to make the final roster. He had just two tackles in the preseason.

LB Power Echols

Echols showed some promising signs during the preseason, finishing with six tackles and playing well. He will be one that the Beras would trust to play at linebacker if called upon, as he has good instincts for finding the ball carrier.

LS Luke Elkin

Elkin should not be on the practice squad for very long. Scott Daly is typically the starting long snapper, so Elkin's time won't last as the Bears will need to open his spot up to other players.

DB Tre Flowers

Flowers actually had a solid preseason until the Kansas City Chiefs preseason game where he had a 50-yard completion allowed and a penalty on the same drive that ended in a Chiefs touchdown. His size still makes him a valuable corner and shouldn't be judged off of one rough game.

DL Jonathan Ford

Ford wasn't much of an impactful player in the preseason with just one tackle, but he can still help the team in multiple ways. The Bears were so deep on the defensive line that Ford got lost in the shuffle.

DB Mekhi Garner

Garner had four tackles in the preseason, helping the Bears navigate through all the injuries that occurred in the secondary. His good play got him a spot on the practice squad.

DL Jamree Kromah

Kromah was a force on the defensive line, having a greater impact than most of his teammates. He finished with six tackles as every last one of them helped him stay in Chicago.

OL Jordan McFadden

McFadden was part of trade rumors before being cut from the Bears. Chicago's deep offensive line made it hard for McFadden to make the roster, but he has good potential that the team can use him for depth.

OL Ricky Stromberg

Stromberg was among one of the first names that were included as being cut on Tuesday. During the preseason, he allowed just two hurries and no sacks for the Bears.

DL Tanoh Kpassagnon

Kpassagnon was a roster bubble player who some felt had a legitimate shot to make the 53-man roster. He finished with just two tackles in the preseason.

WR JP Richardson

Richardson had a nice start to training camp as he flashed quickly, but wasn't too much of an impactful player in preseason games. He had just four catches for 28 yards and two punt returns for 31 yards.
