The Chicago Bears are entering Week 3 of training camp with way more questions than they would like to answer.

That's because injuries have been spread across offense and defense, especially in the secondary. They will need some of their young and inexperienced depth players to step up and get them through camp.

There are still some burning questions the Bears need to have answered before they step on the field against the Cleveland Browns in their first preseason game. Here is a look at the biggest ones they need to get answered.

Biggest questions Bears must answer before Week 3 of training camp ends

Can the team stay healthy throughout the week?

This isn't something the Bears can completely control, but it's something that needs to be asked. Chicago has been brutally plagued with injury after injury. Things have to get better because if they lose any more starters, this 2026 season could become a complete nightmare.

Who else will step up within the wide receiver position?

Luther Burden III and Zavion Thomas are out with injuries, so who can emerge from the wide receiver group? Kaden Davis has been a pleasant surprise, but his chances of making the roster don't seem very high right now. More eyes will be on Kalif Raymond and Jahdae Walker to see whether those guys can make plays in practice.

Will Malik Muhammad be ready to step up at nickel for Kyler Gordon?

Muhammad went into camp thinking he would be competing with Tyrique Stevenson for the starting CB2 job. Instead, he might end up replacing Gordon while he is out with his soft-tissue injury. So far, things have been going well for Muhammad, but can he make a leap to being great at training camp this week?

Can Caleb Williams continue to progress without some key pieces?

Williams doesn't have his starting left tackle in Braxton Jones,, and is out two wide receivers. The Bears want to make sure nothing is holding him back from being great. They hope that they have all the right pieces in place to make sure that he continues to look like the MVP candidate they expect him to be.

How will the defensive line look throughout practice this week?

Bears fans are just hoping progress will be made on the defensive line. Rookie Jordan van den Berg has looked like a guy who could have a long NFL career, but Dayo Odeyingbo and Austin Booker need to show development to be better. Chicago's defensive line needs to continue to get better, so how will they look in training camp?
