The Chicago Bears are allowed to conduct 30 pre-draft visits before the NFL Draft to evaluate which prospects are good fits and to answer questions they have about the players.
While the Bears almost certainly will not draft solely from their pre-draft visit list, they are likely to select a couple of the players they brought in. Based on the 15 pre-draft visits that were reported, which players fit a mock draft for the team?
Round 1: No. 25 Zion Young, Edge, Missouri
The Bears are likely to select an edge rusher in the first round. However, Akheem Mesidor, T.J. Parker, and Keldrick Faulk may not be on the board. So, while Zion Young only goes in the first round in so many mock drafts, he could end up being a good fit for the Bears at 25. They brought him in, and it is not because they expect him to fall into round 2, so the odds of them taking him here are not low.
Round 2: No. 57 Keionte Scott, Safety, Miami
The Bears need a starting safety next to Coby Bryant, and Scott could be the best fit. He is also expected to go right around 57th overall, so this is the perfect range for him. Scott is fast but a physical hitter who plays well in the box. That is just what the Bears need.
Round 2: No. 60 Dom Orange, Defensive Tackle, Iowa State
Orange is a big nose tackle who could step into the role that Andrew Billings played last year. The team is thin at defensive tackle, so it makes sense that they brought in a few.
Round 3: No. 89 De’Zhaun Stribling, Wide Receiver, Ole Miss
After losing DJ Moore, they could continue to add to the receiver room here. Stribling has been a riser in the draft process and has speed that could be unleashed under Ben Johnson.
Round 4: No. 129 Brian Parker, C, Duke
Parker played tackle in college, but is expected to slide inside to guard or center in the NFL. This is a great fit for the Bears because he can sit out a year, transition, and potentially replace Garrett Bradbury next year.
Round 7: No. 239 Seth McGowan, RB, Kentucky
McGowan is highly athletic, but is older and has off-field questions. That is likely why the Bears brought him in.

Round 7: No. 241 Karon Prunty, CB, Wake Forest
Prunty is a late-round option that Chicago showed interest in.
