The Chicago Bears are looking to punch their ticket to the NFC Championship game in Seattle, as they first need to take care of the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Divisional Round matchup.

Chicago is coming off an incredible 31-27 win over the Green Bay Packers that included a season-saving catch by Bears receiver Rome Odunze in the fourth quarter on fourth-and-eight. Odunze finished with two receptions for 44 yards in his first game back since the Philadelphia Eagles Black Friday game.

Odunze has been dealing with a foot injury that kept him out of the last five games of the regular season. This week on the injury report, Odunze was limited in the first two workouts and was a full participant in the final practice, but was still listed as questionable for the game.

That created another week of questions from Bears fans about whether Odunze will truly be available to play against the Rams or if Chicago would protect him from further injury.

Will Rome Odunze play against the Los Angeles Rams in the playoff game?

Odunze has given all indications that he will be on the field for the game, and nothing will hold him back. The questionable status seems more precautionary than anything, in case of any setback.

Before sitting out the final five games of the regular season, Odunze was the leading receiver on the team as he had 44 receptions for 661 yards and six touchdowns. He averaged 15 yards per reception on the season for Chicago.

Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has leaned more on guys like DJ Moore, Colston Loveland, and Luther Burden III during the stretch that Odunze has been out, so there are chemistry things he and Williams have to work out. Odunze seemed to do decently well on the field against the Packers, but the Williams-Loveland connection seems to be rolling going into the Divisional Round game.

While Bears fans should expect Oduzne on the field, he might not be the number one receiver on the team.
