All of a sudden, there is a world in which the Chicago Bears could land edge rusher Maxx Crosby in a trade after all.
The Las Vegas Raiders announced on social media that the Baltimore Ravens had backed out of their Crosby trade, with later reports citing the five-time Pro Bowler failing his physical. Baltimore was originally going to trade their 2026 and 2027 first-round picks to the Raiders.
Chicago should be in the conversation to try to get a deal done for Crosby, but they know it's going to be a very expensive price. What kind of trade offers should the Bears make to get a deal done with the Raiders?
Trade Offer1:
Raiders acquire 2026 First-Round Pick, 2026 Second-Round Pick
Bears acquire edge rusher Maxx Crosby
It's a fairly straightforward offer, as the Bears straight-up move their first two draft picks to the Raiders. Since they have a lower pick than the Ravens do at 14, it might be tougher for them to get this deal done, with reports coming out that the Raiders will not lower their asking price of two first-round picks. If they are desperate enough, they will take this solid deal.
Trade Offer 2:
Raiders acquire 2026 First-Round Pick, 2027 Second-Round Pick, running back D'Andre Swift
Bears acquire edge rusher Maxx Crosby
If the Raiders balk at the first offer, try to change it up by throwing in running back D'Andre Swift to give that Las Vegas offense another weapon to hand off to instead of Ashton Jeanty. Pairing the two together could make their offense dangerous and give Chicago the pass rusher they desperately need after just 35 sacks last season. Plus, it gets Swift off the books as the Bears make room for Crosby.
Trade Offer 3:
Raiders acquire 2026 First-Round Pick, 2026 Third-Round Pick, 2027 Second-Round Pick
Bears acquire edge rusher Maxx Crosby

Chicago could always throw in one more draft pick to spice it up, so the Raiders have plenty of future picks to work with without surrendering that 2027 first-round pick. With how deep this 2026 draft class is at edge rusher, Las Vegas should find its Crosby replacement easily, and the Bears get their guy.
