Tuesday was the most eventful day for Chicago Bears fans looking for news from the NFL Owners' Meetings.

One of the biggest takeaways was Ryan Poles's statement that the team has prioritized signing Kyler Gordon to a contract extension. Since the start of the offseason, Gordon has been the obvious extension candidate on the Bears' roster.

Elsewhere, Ben Johnson provided injury updates on Braxton Jones and Jaquan Brisker. Johnson believes that Brisker has been medically cleared while stating that Jones is on track in his recovery from the ankle injury that ended his 2024 season prematurely.

Chicago Bears News: Kevin Warren's stadium update lacks any significant news

Chicago Bears team president Kevin Warren is also at the meetings. While speaking during an interview with Pro Football Talk live, Warren mentioned that the Bears' new stadium will either be on the Lake Front or Arlington Heights.

It's getting exhausting to cover Warren's updates on where things stand with the Bears' stadium. To his credit, it does seem that Warren wants to keep the Bears in the city, with the Lake Front being the only realistic location. Having said that, there simply remain too many hurdles to clear in order for that happen. At this point, it just seems that Warren is delaying the inevitable. The inevitable being the Bears eventually breaking ground on a new stadium in Arlington Heights.

Chicago Bears News: Ryan Poles sounds off on the 2025 NFL Draft

Ryan Poles sounds like someone who wouldn't be opposed to trading back in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

While there have been recent reports suggesting that the Bears could have an interest in moving up from the No. 10 selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, a trade back remains the likelier of the two scenarios. Short of Will Campbell or Ashton Jeanty falling to the Bears, it seems that the Bears are in an ideal position to trade back.

Chicago Bears News: It sounds like Ben Johnson knows the Bears will take a running back

The more the Bears talk about running backs, the more it seems they are going to take one at some point during the 2025 NFL Draft.

The 2025 NFL Draft class is deep at the running back position. Even if the Bears do not take Ashton Jeanty or Omarion Hampton in the first round, there are a handful of options the team could consider on Day 2. Kaleb Johnson, TreVeyon Henderson, and Quinshon Judkins are three names that immediately come to mind.
