As folks get into the holiday season, there are stories about Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, but nothing compared to what Chicago Bears fans keep hearing about quarterback Caleb Williams.

One of the most pivotal plays came when Williams converted a fourth down with a six-yard touchdown pass to Bears undrafted rookie Jahdae Walker to tie the game against the Green Bay Packers, setting up Williams' game-winning touchdown to DJ Moore in overtime, 22-16. Walker spoke with the media about what helped build the quick chemistry between him and Williams, with high praise for the signal caller.

"That showed me how much of a leader he is, how much he cares, his process, his work ethic, and how he performs, the way he prepares for each game. It's crazy."

Williams is becoming the Bears quarterback Chicago needed this holiday season

This season, the Bears have dominated with an 11-4 record and currently have a 1.5-game lead on the Packers in the NFC North. Some might think of it as a holiday miracle, but the Bears are all pure talent led by Williams.

In 15 games, Williams has completed under 58% of his passes for 3,400 yards and 23 touchdowns to just six interceptions. He's also rushed for over 300 yards and three touchdowns on the year.

Nobody has ever questioned Williams's work ethic, as he has clearly put in the time to improve. While the accuracy leaves much to be desired, he has improved his decision-making and has been the leader the Bears need, rather than showing his frustration as he did in 2024.
