The Chicago Bears took home a Week 7 victory against Spencer Rattler and the New Orleans Saints in a game that was not only the fourth-straight victory for head coach Ben Johnson, but it was a revenge victory for defensive coordinator and recently fired head coach Dennis Allen.

Allen cooked up one heck of a game plan in a 26-14 victory. Rattler was intercepted three times and lost a fumble, all while the Bears finally broke out running the ball. Chicago beat the Saints into the dirt in this game, and Allen was the toast of the town after the game.

In a social media clip showcasing Johnson's latest locker room speech following the victory, Johnson conceded the bulk of the postgame festivities to Allen. He may not have earned a reputation as a master motivator in New Orleans, but his latest quote will surely get every Bears fan fired up.

Allen punctuated his speech with a "sometimes you ain't good enough for somewhere else" quote that is going to sting the Saints' fanbase, even though the entirety of that group was ready to kick him out of town personally. The vibes are immaculate in Chicago at the moment.

Dennis Allen's quote after Saints win will fire up Bears fans

Allen's defense has been one of the more opportunistic in the NFC, as they have intercepted 11 passes in the last seven games. Even without a dominant pass rush and some young cornerbacks playing extended snaps, Allen has been able to get this unit in fighting shape.

The Bears are by no means out of the woods just yet, as they started 4-2 last season before everything fell apart in front of them, but Johnson doesn't appear to be an Eberflus at this point, and Allen looks to have been a rock-solid coordinator hire for a first-time coach.

The next three games will be a huge test for this defense. The Baltimore Ravens will get Lamar Jackson back in action, the Cincinnati Bengals came alive with Joe Flacco under center, and the New York Giants have been revitalized ever since Jaxson Dart was put in as the starter.

If Allen holds up, and Johnson keeps Williams performing at an optimal level, look for the Bears to suddenly live up to all of the preseason hype and finally position themselves as a team that could actually make some noise in the playoffs.
