This offseason, the number one priority for the Chicago Bears is to find a suitable pass rusher who can work off the edge with Montez Sweat.

The Bears had only 35 sacks this season, with six teams recording fewer. There have been two big options fans want the team to consider to help the defense: sign Trey Hendrickson or trade for Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby.

While speaking with the crew on CHGO, Bears Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher was asked about the possibility of the team trading for Crosby. Urlacher wasn't shy about being on board with that plan.

"I wish they would. They have the pieces to get him I think. They have the cap space if they want to get him. I'm such a huge fan of his. That dude plays the game the way your'e supposed to. He plays a million miles an hour every snap, doesn't take plays off, and he makes huge plays."

The noise is loud for Bears trading for Maxx Crosby

Crosby has been one of the most dominant defensive ends in the NFL, and over the last seven seasons, he's played in the league. He's racked up 69.5 sacks, with four of his seven seasons totaling more than 10 sacks. Adding another five Pro Bowl selections and two second-team All-Pro selections, Bears fans get a player who would make such a difference for them.

Austin Booker shows a lot of potential but is currently seen more as a rotational player. Dayo Odeyingbo doesn't give many fans in Chicago much hope after one awful season on the team.

There's always the option to look at the NFL Draft for an edge rusher, as there are at least 10 players at the position that could go in the first half. Someone like Crosby, though, doesn't come around very often.

The Bears have to seriously consider Crosby as an option with one month to go before free agency kicks off.
