Yep, we unfortunately know....

Chicago Bears fans are just waiting for the day that the new stadium drama between Illinois, Indiana, and the franchise is finally over, and they can move on with their lives.

After the stadium bill failed to pass in Illinois, the Bears announced they plan to begin the process with Hammond, Indiana, over Arlington Heights, Illinois. With all the issues with this long-standing situation, Sports Illustrated's Gilberto Manzano named the Bears fans as the biggest losers from the NFL offseason if the team does move to Indiana.

"It would be a huge disappointment if the Bears end up building their new stadium in Indiana. The team and lawmakers of the city and state need to stop bickering and find a resolution to keep the Bears close to home, or right where they are, next to Lake Michigan.

While the Bears do need a new stadium to replace outdated Soldier Field, they’re currently on an ideal site that complements Chicago’s passionate fans and the rich history of the team. The team could lose the vibrant atmosphere on game days if it moves to Indiana."

Bears fans are losers regardless of the situation

The reality is the Bears fans have been in the middle of what has seemed like a divorce for a while now without knowing what is truly going on behind closed door. Politicians are either pointing the finger at each other or the Bears while the Bears are focused on the lack of committment from the politicians in Illinois.

Sure, there's an argument to be made that Illinois suffers more than anyone else and could be considered a loser since it could lose millions of dollars. Bears fans are suffering the most, as they have no control over the situation and have to watch from the sidelines.

This has been a mess from the beginning as everyone is coming out of it looking bad. The Bears are showing their greed while the politicians in Illinois dragged their feet and tried calling the franchise' bluff on leaving the state.

Who knows how this is going to end, but no matter what, the fans are going to take a hit in some capacity. There is still belief, though, that the Bears will stick around in Illinois, but seems like a long shot at this point of the game for them.
