Watching Caleb Williams play quarterback for the Chicago Bears last year was a treat for every NFL fan, but how does the public feel about him and the rest of the signal callers in the Windy City?
Williams is the clear-cut starter with Tyson Bagent and Case Keenum as the backups. FanSided's Christopher Kline shared his rankings of all 32 quarterback rooms in the league. The Bears barely found themselves in the top 10, ranked right at 10.
"Caleb Williams made a handful of the greatest throws in recent memory in Chicago's all-too-brief postseason run. The Bears are officially knocking on the door. Williams' improvement year-over-year is difficult to wrap one's head around. The Ben Johnson effect was very, very real. Williams is processing the field quicker and standing tall in the pocket without stumbling into unnecessary sacks. The talent was never in question. He's a tier-one athlete with a canon for an arm and the legs to capitalize on a broken play. The Bears have their franchise QB.
The Bears went 2-2 in four Tyson Bagent starts in 2023, his only meaningful experience to date. He threw twice as many interceptions (six) and touchdowns (three). Case Keenum brings experience and leadership, but he's not exactly a reliable backup either. Still, Bears fans can confidently ride with Williams."
Bears ranked 10th in quarterback room
It's obvious that Williams helps make this one of the best quarterback rooms in the NFL after the 2025 season he had. He broke a franchise record with 3,942 yards and threw 27 touchdowns to seven interceptions, adding another three scores on the ground. His 1.1% interception ratio is currently pacing to be the best in NFL history after just 13 in 34 career games.
Bagent is one of the underappreciated backup quarterbacks in the league, as he is 2-2 as a starter since 2023. The undrafted signal caller has proven himself valuable with teams this offseason, showing interest in bringing him in via trade to either be a backup or compete for a starting job.
Keenum has plenty of NFL experience, having led the Minnesota Vikings to the NFC Championship Game in 2018. His starter experience already separates him from most third-string quarterbacks in the league.

The Bears truly have an elite quarterback room from top to bottom and probably deserve a higher ranking than what they got.
