Chicago Bears fans might remember cornerback Shaun Wade from last preseason after an injury cost him a chance to make the roster. Well, Wade found his way back into the NFL.

ProFootballTalk were the first to report that Wade has signed with the Philadelphia Eagles to join their secondary. Wade just finished up his season in the UFL with the Dallas Renegades where he racked up 24 tackles, nine pass deflections, three interceptions, and a forced fumble in eight games.

Prior to the UFL, Wade played in 20 regular season games in the NFL, finishing with 26 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one pass deflection. He was placed on IR during the Bears' preseason last year after getting hurt.

Wade not returning to the Bears is interesting, as he worked out with the team and the New York Jets after the UFL regular season ended. It seems as though he decided to sign with the Eagles.

The Bears seemed like a logical landing spot as they need help in the secondary, and Kyler Gordon's injury is concerning everyone within the organization, including his head coach, Ben Johnson. Chicago could use the depth at the cornerback position.

Losing Wade isn't the end of the world, as the Bears also used the UFL player pipeline to find some talent. The Bears signed linebacker Tony Fields II and wide receiver Kaden Davis to help fill in the gaps that were needed for the 90-man roster before training camp begins in over a month.

Wade landing on his feet after the injury in preseason is good to see from the Bears fan base, but since he is with the enemy, the days of cheering him on are over.
