Saturday's practice at training camp is looking like the Chicago Bears are putting on a clinic for how wide receivers should play.

Quarterback Caleb Williams is showing some promising signs at camp after a rough first week, with good throws to his top targets, Rome Odunze and DJ Moore. Odunze had a great play where he beat Kyler Gordon 1-on-1 in the red zone on a catch.

Moore was also in on the action as he caught a back shoulder fade touchdown against cornerback Nashon Wright while also drawing the pass interference penalty.

Bears offense trending in the right direction

After all the reports of poor offensive performances at camp in Week 1, it's nice to hear that the team is starting to hit its stride. The first week was filled with pre-snap issues and Williams turning the ball over. It even had the first-team starters get kicked off the field due to multiple mistakes.

Week 2 has been a different story with Luther Burden III coming back onto the field after recovering from his soft tissue injury, and while it was a slow start, he's picking up steam late in the week. Odunze and Moore have been flexing their muscles with some nice performances.

The Bears need their top receivers to stay in top shape after having a combined 241 targets last year. Odunze, in particular, needs a breakout season after only catching 53.5% of his targets.

Williams has gotten better himself with better passing days and reports that he is getting the ball out quicker than he did last year. Better accuracy and fewer turnovers have been key to his good performance at practice.

It's an excellent way for the team and their young offense to end the week, as the Bears have another padded practice scheduled for Sunday.
