All feels right with the world in Chicago after the Bears announced the 21-day practice window is being opened for two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Jaylon Johnson.

The Bears had Johnson practice on a limited basis in their last workout before their Week 11 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Chicago shockingly did not rule out Johnson for the Vikings games, as his status is currently questionable.

After practice, Bears safety Jaquan Brisker, who is questionable himself with a back injury, shared in all fans' excitement to see his teammate on the practice field for the first time in two months.

"Yeah, seeing Jaylon out there, it was amazing. I know he been working hard since Vegas and, obviously, I left before he got hurt there. And obviously when he got hurt against Detroit, it happened in front of my face, but to see him overcome that journey and things like that, getting back on the field, smiling, touching grass, it was amazing."

Johnson is returning at the right time for the Bears

This is a Bears' secondary that has had an up-and-down season, trying to survive multiple games without Johnson and Kyler Gordon in the starting lineup. They are currently 26th in the NFL against the pass, allowing 240.3 yards per game.

Thankfully, guys like Kevin Byard III and Tremaine Edmunds each lead the NFL in interceptions with four. While Johnson's replacement, Tyrique Stevenson, hasn't been perfect, he has been effective enough to help the team get through this rough patch on defense.

Chicago has managed to weather the storm by going 6-3 to start the season and is tied for first in the NFC North. Despite being statistically in the bottom 10 in most defensive stats, the NFL-leading 20 turnovers created have kept them in games.

The moment the Bears can have Johnson step on the field for a regular season game again will be the moment the NFL should be scared that Chicago can make a run for the postseason.
