The Chicago Bears wasted no time obliterating Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns in Week 15. By every account, the Bears were better.
Cornerback Jaylon Johnson was a big part of bringing Sanders down to earth after last week's big game, as he caught one of the three interceptions thrown by the fifth-round rookie. After the Bears' 31-3 dismantling of the Browns, Johnson was very quick to look ahead.
He is ready for next week's revenge game against the Green Bay Packers. Courtesy of CHGO, Johnson said this:
“We got a lot to show and a lot to prove and we gotta go get our get back."
That pretty much sums it up, folks. This game against the Browns was over in a hurry. Sure, it was only 14-3 at halftime. But the Bears were better in every sense, and the second half proved as much.
Jaylon Johnson put the Browns in the rear view as soon as the final whistle sounded
It shouldn't be hard for any Bears player or coach to move past this easy victory in such a rush. After all, Sanders looked exactly like a fifth-round pick, throwing 177 yards, zero touchdowns and three interceptions on the day.
The Bears defense also sacked Sanders five times in the contest.
Now, as for this coming Saturday night, the Bears' defense is hoping to put up a similar performance against Jordan Love and the Packers' offense.
In Week 14, Love was only brought down for a single sack in the Bears' loss. And, despite the interception secured by CJ Gardner-Johnson, the Bears were unable to capitalize on their ensuing drive.
In Week 16, it has to be a different story. The Bears have to turn over the Packers on defense, and they must score points off of those turnovers. For the team that leads the league in takeaways, their chances should be good to do exactly that.
Having Johnson back in the fold, for a couple of games now, will undoubtedly help. After missing the majority of the season with a core injury that required surgery, Johnson is getting back into his groove and, thus, will be a key player against Green Bay.

In all likelihood, this game could determine the NFC North champion, too. We'll see just how high the stakes are at that point, but if Chicago comes away with a win, they should control their own destiny.
