ESPN NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler might be becoming the Chicago Bears fans' favorite reporter with all the good news he's been providing them before the Green Bay Packers game in Week 16.
Fowler was the first to report the night before the Packers game that Bears linebacker Tremaine Edmunds was expected to be activated from the IR for the contest. Chicago will have another player questionable for the game against Green Bay.
Bears running back D'Andre Swift is expected to play against the Packers, sources tell Fowler. Swift was listed as questionable with a groin injury that has kept him limited in practice all week.
Bears yet again will have another weapon ready to play against the Packers
Swift is having one of the best seasons of his career, rushing for 935 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games. He is just 115 yards and two touchdowns away from career-highs in both categories.
After averaging a career-low 3.8 yards per carry last year in his first season with the Bears, he has drastically improved with 4.9 yards per carry this season, the second-highest of his six-year NFL career.
A significant factor in Swift's improvement has been the offensive line getting better with four new starters, and rookie running back Kyle Monangai has given the Bears a different dynamic offensively to help be more physical, with Swift showing off the speed.

Swift will be a significant factor for the Bears as they try to continue the success they had on the ground against the Packers in Week 14. In a game that could decide who wins the NFC North, the Bears need all their players on the field, and Swift will be a key factor in making that happen.
