This Chicago Bears training camp is filled with so much talent across the team, but one position has a lot of upside potential, even with more questions.
At wide receiver, Rome Odunze and Luther Burden III look like guys who are going to thrive in the offense. The questions are whether Odunze will finally have his breakout season and whether Burden can live up to the offseason hype around him.
WR3 is another major question mark on who is going to win that job. Apparently, free-agent signing Kalif Raymond is already making some noise with his 50+ yard touchdown catch from Caleb Williams, which was called the highlight of the day. Even Odunze knows that Raymond is going to be special for Chicago.
"He's quick," Odunze said via ESPN Bears reporter Courtney Cronin. "You guys saw him today. He can get over the top of the defense."

Kalif Raymond might end up being a difference maker for Bears in 2026
Raymond has a big advantage over all the other new players on the Bears since he already knows head coach Ben Johnson. The two were together in Detroit with the Lions for as long as Johnson was the offensive coordinator.
Chicago has a true weapon in Raymond with his ability to be a reliable third-down receiver and to make an impact as a returner on special teams. There's a good chance Zavion Thomas becomes the Bears' main returner while Raymond focuses on offense.
The Bears are going to lean on Raymond for more than just being a receiver. When DJ Moore got traded, the wide receiver room needed a veteran leader; that's where Raymond comes in and can help the Bears' young pass-catchers in Johnson's offense.
Williams is looking like an elite quarterback and needs all the talent around him. Having guys like Raymond, Burden, and Thomas who can use their speed to burn defenders, this Bears passing attack is going to have no problems going down the field more often in 2026.

Entering 2026, the Bears' offense should be in a prime position to be one of the NFL's best because of all the talent that is on that side of the ball. Raymond will see himself playing an underrated role in making sure the offense stays playing at a high level throughout the season.
