With all the talk and attention on the new stadium talks, Chicago Bears fans barely heard anything about what happened with the final practice before their preseason showdown against the Cleveland Browns.
Well, the practice seemed to go so well that a great play ended it all. There's a lot of attention on quarterback Tyson Bagent being named the starter for the preseason game, so he had to solidify that choice with a great pass he threw.
"I think that’s the third time Bears practice has ended with a Tyson Bagent TD to Kaden Davis," CHGO's Adam Hoge said. "Will be interesting to see how often those two connect in Saturday’s preseason game."

Bagent has had a great training camp so far. He has adjusted so well to head coach Ben Johnson's scheme since last year. That led to Bagent's contract extension and an explosive 2025 preseason that ended with over 500 passing yards and five touchdowns.
Chicago's biggest surprise at training camp has to be Davis and how he's played. Over the last two weeks, several reports have noted him catching a touchdown pass or making a great play.
Davis just came from a run in the United Football League with the Houston Gamblers, but was more of a returner on special teams. His past connection with Johnson from their time together with the Detroit Lions helped him get another shot at the NFL.
Bagent is already locked in as the backup quarterback, so this game is more about getting valuable reps. Davis is fighting for his NFL life and must play well if he has any shot at making the roster or the practice squad.
This pairing has thrived and played well throughout training camp. Bagent and Davis have developed strong chemistry on the field, making an impressive performance more likely.
A lot of guys are fighting for roster spots and need to play well to earn their spot. Davis is one of those guys, but he has a massive advantage over everyone. Bagent trusts his receiver to make a play, which makes things easier.
