The Chicago Bears have wrapped up Week 2 of training camp, and it was an interesting operation for the franchise.

Everyone's top headlines from the week were the wild number of injuries that plagued the team, including the losses of Braxton Jones, Luther Burden, Montez Sweat, and Coby Bryant. Even with that, the Bears still managed to put on the pads for the first time with mixed results, but got some great play still from unlikely sources.

Trying to stay optimistic here, the Bears still had plenty of winners and fewer losers from training camp. Here's a look at who stood out in Week 2 of training camp for the Bears.

Winners and losers from Bears' second week of training camp

Losers: Bears training and conditioning team

Let's get the negative over with: having three to four players injured a day is a bit alarming. Players get hurt in training camp all the time, and that's understandable, but the Bears were forced to sign four defensive backs in four days. That shouldn't happen.

At some point, the Bears need to reexamine what they are doing to get these players' bodies ready for the grind of training camp, because it's the second straight year the secondary is filled with injuries. It's worse now with Braxton Jones, Montez Sweat, and Luther Burden also hurt. Something has to give.

Winner: Colston Loveland, TE

Okay, back to the positives. Loveland is having another incredible training camp and continuing to catch some incredible touchdowns. It certainly feels like he is in for another strong season for the Bears.

Winner: Kaden Davis, WR

After not much noise in Week 1, wow, Davis decided to show up and have highlight plays nearly every day. It's been almost day after day of deep-ball spectacular touchdown catches for Davis, proving that he might need to be in the conversation to make the roster. It still feels very unlikely, but the practice squad is 100% in the conversation for him.

Loser: Kyler Gordon, CB

It feels like too easy a choice, but that's because he is truly starting to see his job slip away. Malik Muhammad seems to have control of the nickel position and is getting better. At the rate Muhammad is going, if Gordon can't go, he might be the Week 1 starter in the slot, and who knows if he even gives it up.

Winner: Xavier Woods, S

Woods hasn't even been here a week, and he's already making plays in training camp. He got an interception and is laying some big hits on the field. Of the signings they have made over the last week, Woods was a great move, as he looks poised to start for Bryant in Week 1.

Winner: Caleb Williams, QB

Things weren't as smooth with the pads on for Week 2, but Williams is still playing some really good football on the practice field. He's got firm control of this offense, and there are a lot of reports of deep-ball completions from him, even if some of them are going to the defense. This training camp is still light-years better than his performance last year.
