The last thing the Chicago Bears needed was an injury to their star quarterback, Caleb Williams, but something seems off.

At the end of the first half of the Week 15 Cleveland Browns game, the Bears ran a hook and ladder play to try to get a score before the half when Williams took a helmet crown shot by Browns rookie linebacker Carson Schwesinger. Williams was seen limping off the field after taking the hit.

His stats before the half include Williams completing 12 of 18 passes for 190 yards and one touchdown. Chicago had a 14-0 lead going into halftime.

All bad news for the Bears with Williams

This injury couldn't have come at a worse time, with Tyson Bagent out for the game with an illness right before the contest. Case Keenum is the second-string quarterback going into the game. Keenum was seen on the sidelines during the third-quarter break, getting ready.

Bagent has filled in for a few snaps in three games, but Williams has held his job for the most part as the starter. The good part of Williams is his toughness and being able to stay on the field.

The Bears can't afford to lose Williams, especailly when he is picking up momentum that he needed. There have been a ton of questions about his accuracy this season, which have been fair as he has completed just 57% of his passes going into the Browns game.

Williams got off to a fast start against Cleveland with some great throws in the first half. He has been to make multiple connections with Colston Loveland, Luther Burden III, and DJ Moore.
