Chicago Bears fans will have to have another sleepless night wondering who is going to be available to play in their Week 4 showdown with the Las Vegas Raiders.
The new injury report for the Bears was released on Thursday, and it's essentially a copy-and-paste job. For the second consecutive day, linebacker T.J. Edwards (hamstring), cornerback Kyler Gordon (hamstring), defensive tackle Grady Jarrett (knee), tight end Colston Loveland (hip), and right tackle Darnell Wright (elbow) did not practice.
Chicago had the same four players from Wednesday's injury report that practiced once again hit the field with defensive back Jaylon Jones (hamstring), running back D'Andre Swift (hip), tight end Cole Kmet (groin), and linebacker D'Marco Jackson (hamstring). The only difference is that Kmet went from being limited on Wednesday to being a full participant on Thursday.
Only slightly better good news for the Bears for Week 4
Welp, not much positive to talk about with the Bears after coming off an incredible 31-14 win over the Dallas Cowboys and Caleb Williams winning NFC Offensive Player of the Week. Instead of being able to enjoy the win over the week, it's now just a worrying feeling.
Kmet at least gives Chicago good news that he was a full participant. There wasn't much doubt with him in the first place, but with Loveland not practicing, they needed at least one of the two starting tight ends out there.
All indications are that Loveland will still play on Sunday, but his missing practice for two straight days is a concern. It could be that the team is being more cautious. This could mean that even if Loveland is active, he might not play as much on Sunday.
The number one concern remains on defense, with three starters not practicing, and the Bears already missing Jaylon Johnson for what could be most of the season. Chicago at least needs Gordon to get better and back out there, as it could be a rough day at the office for the secondary.
Wright's injury and not practicing are other problems. If he can't go, it's most likely that Theo Benedet will take over the right tackle position for the game, and that would be his first career start. Benedet would most likely have to block Maxx Crosby—rough first assignment.

There's one more practice to try to ease the minds of Bears fans, but for now, it's not looking so hot.
