Chicago Bears Round 3 | Pick 64: Jack Campbell, ILB

Another massive favorite of mine. I double up on defense here and grab our new star linebacker in Jack Campbell. Campbell has all the traits to be an All-Pro caliber linebacker in the NFL and as the Bears need some help here after trading Roquan Smith, Campbell could step right into the role and immediately be a star.

Campbell came onto the scene in the 2021 NCAA season in which he led all of FBS in tackles with 143. He didn't start to get recognition though until 2022 in which he had 128 tackles earning himself the Dick Butkus Award (nation's best linebacker), Big Ten Conference Defensive Player of the Year, and First-Team All-American honors.

Campbell is a smart, instinctive linebacker who quite literally had the seventh-highest relative athletic score (9.98) out of 2,427 linebacker prospects from 1987 to present. His rare blend of size, explosion, speed, and strength is that rare that he is a top 0.3% of linebacker athletes.

Jack Campbell could play any of the inside linebacker positions for the Bears. His skillset probably best suits Mike on paper, but I believe he could be a high-level Sam or Will. Pair Campbell with Jack Sanborn (Mike linebacker) and a free agent (Bobby Okereke?) and the Bears immediately have a top linebacker core in the NFL.
