3. Can Greg Stroman make the Chicago Bears roster?

Greg Stroman is making an interesting case for the roster. Stroman was a seventh-round pick by Washington all the way back in 2018. He actually played well as a rookie back then, but he suffered a season-ending injury three snaps in 2019. In 2020, he played one snap before his season ended, and he spent all of 2021 out of football rehabbing.

Stroman caught on with the Chicago Bears in 2022 and started to make noise in the preseason. He did not make the roster but did stick on the practice squad. He got called up by the end of the season and played all 70 snaps against the Vikings in week 18. It showed that they wanted a strong look at Stroman.

Now, he is back in 2023 and looking to build off of that finish. So far, it appears to be working. When looking at the cornerback depth chart, we identified five locks. The sixth cornerback as of now is Greg Stroman.

So, if any cornerbacks make it beyond what is expected, that player will be Stroman. That is the case as of now, and it can change, but the stock of Stroman has been up for a full year. He is still 27 years old and may finally be recovered from the injury. If that is the case, he has a real chance to make the roster as the sixth cornerback.
