6. Detroit Lions: Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois

When you watch Devon Witherspoon on video, you tell yourself that this is a future Detroit Lions player. He lives and dies on every snap and he talks on every snap. He is Dan Campbell if Dan Campbell played cornerback.

The Lions did a lot to fix their secondary, but it was needed. The one thing it does is given them versatility. Witherspoon is undersized for an outside cornerback but could move in and outside, just like Cam Sutton, who they signed. He can also drop back and play safety and C.J. Gardner-Johnson can jump into the slot or cornerback spot.

Speaking of Gardner-Johnson, he fits the Lions in the same way that Witherspoon does. If they added Witherspoon it would be an overdose of trash talk between them. The big question here is if they would take Tyree Wilson or Devon Witherspoon. Still, they added Aidan Hutchinson last season, and while Wilson is good, the tape on Witherspoon was probably better snap-by-snap last season. The secondary was the Lions' biggest issue, and this would fix that.
