4. Ben Powers is a great fit with the Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears have not decided what to do with Cody Whitehair. However, they could save roughly $10M if they move on from him. Ben Powers is projected to see a similar, if not slightly less contract on the open market, and if the team has to choose between the two, it is Ben Powers.

Beyond the reality is that Powers is 26, and Whitehair will be 31 this season, Powers may just be a better fit. We know that Luke Getsy was reportedly taking plays from the Ravens' playbook during the middle of the season to adjust to Justin Fields.

If the Chicago Bears want to spend more time utilizing the strengths of Justin Fields they should be running a similar offense. An easy way to transition is to sign one of the better run blockers from the Ravens line.

Even if his contract is a wash, you would gladly swap Whitehair for Powers and take the $10M cap hit. The Chicago Bears have to be looking to pry him away from the Ravens.
