8. Josh Oliver should be on the Chicago Bears' radar

Josh Oliver was a draft pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars, but after changing regimes, he was let him go after his second NFL season. So, he caught on with the Baltimore Ravens and spent the last two seasons in Baltimore.

Josh Oliver is another player who may be just hitting his best play. He played 119 snaps as a rookie, then spent his second season injured. He played just 154 for the Ravens in 2021, but injuries got him on the field for 561 snaps last season.

He thrived in that role. The team used him as a blocker on 57% of the snaps. He lined up in line and his ability helped the team get Mark Andrews into the slot more often. This is what the team needs to do with Cole Kmet.

Josh Oliver is still 26 years old. He was not even expected to be a great blocker and was more of a receiver in college. However, in the Ravens' offense, his athletic ability on the move is what makes him such a valuable blocker.

Considering the Chicago Bears have been looking to run an offense similar to the Ravens it is easy to suggest that Oliver would also excel in this offense. At the right price, it is a great fit.
